The TD3.8 was created to bring much of the scale, speed and dynamic authority of the mighty TD6 into a design suited to more manageable listening rooms. Built around powerful 8-inch tantalum-diamond bass drivers, it can move air with conviction while retaining the precision and responsiveness that distinguish Raidho from conventional large loudspeakers. Its dedicated midrange and ribbon tweeter preserve openness, texture and spatial realism, creating a full-range presentation that feels coherent rather than divided into separate frequency bands. TD3.8 is for listeners who want reference-level impact without requiring the largest possible system or room. It exists at a particularly compelling point in the TD range: capable of reproducing the physical energy of a performance, yet refined enough to illuminate its smallest gestures, atmosphere and emotional detail.

The TD membrane combines five carefully engineered layers: an aluminium core, ceramic surfaces, tantalum and a final coating of artificial diamond. Each cone carries approximately 1.5 carats of diamond in a layer measuring only 10 microns.

The tantalum-and-diamond structure is up to 50 times stiffer than a ceramic-only membrane. Resonances are reduced by 36 dB, while the first breakup mode is raised to 20 kHz, leaving the audible range exceptionally clean.

An N52 neodymium magnet drives an underhung square-wire titanium voice coil with exceptional linearity. The turbine-shaped motor and open basket minimise reflections, while copper-coated pole pieces reduce inductance, delivering bass with speed, authority and precise timing.
