The TD2.2 Signature was created to combine the seamless coherence of a two-way loudspeaker with the scale, bass authority and ease of a refined floorstander. Its 2.5-way architecture allows both main drivers to support the low frequencies while the upper unit carries the critical midrange, creating a remarkably unified presentation from top to bottom. Signature refinements inspired by the TD3.10 - including an upgraded crossover, improved bass driver, Furutech terminals and IsoAcoustics isolation - allow that musical balance to emerge with even greater freedom and control. TD2.2 Signature is for listeners who want a complete, room-filling TD experience without moving to a physically imposing design. The TD membrane combines five carefully engineered layers: an aluminium core, ceramic surfaces, tantalum and a final coating of artificial diamond. Each cone carries approximately 1.5 carats of diamond in a layer measuring only 10 microns.

The tantalum-and-diamond structure is up to 50 times stiffer than a ceramic-only membrane. Resonances are reduced by 36 dB, while the first breakup mode is raised to 20 kHz, leaving the audible range exceptionally clean.

An N52 neodymium magnet drives an underhung square-wire titanium voice coil with exceptional linearity. The turbine-shaped motor and open basket minimise reflections, while copper-coated pole pieces reduce inductance, delivering bass with speed, authority and precise timing.
