The X2.8 was created to give the X Series a true statement loudspeaker - one capable of combining serious full-range performance with the speed, transparency and emotional connection that make Raidho distinctive. Its three-way architecture and dual 8-inch bass drivers bring greater physical scale, deeper extension and a more effortless sense of authority, allowing large performances to breathe naturally in the room. Yet power is only part of its purpose. The Raidho ribbon tweeter, proprietary in-house drivers and carefully built crossover preserve detail, timing and tonal coherence, so the loudspeaker never becomes heavy or slow. X2.8 is for listeners who want music to have presence as well as precision. It exists to make the X Series feel complete: Danish craftsmanship, proprietary technology and genuine statement-level performance brought together in one commanding design.

Why it sounds different
Raidho Ceramix technology begins with a lightweight aluminium cone whose outer surfaces are transformed into aluminium-oxide ceramic. The result is a naturally bonded sandwich structure combining high rigidity with excellent self-damping.

On the X Series “t” models, a tantalum coating makes the Ceramix membrane even harder and stiffer without adding significant moving mass. Breakup modes are pushed as high as 15 kHz, preserving clarity across a remarkably wide range.

Powerful neodymium magnets drive the titanium voice coil within an exceptionally open motor structure. Airflow helps cool the coil and reduces reflections that could otherwise colour the sound, keeping the bass fast, articulate and precisely controlled.
